The decision to spay or neuter your pet is an extremely important decision and can be the single best decision you make for their long-term welfare. Sterilization is important when considering the lives of animals everywhere.
At Albany Humane Society we offer SNAP for residents of Dougherty County. Our Spay and Neuter Assistance Program is funded by private donors and is designed to alleviate the financial burden associated with this surgery for those who may not be able to afford to spay or neuter their pets. Proof of residency and income is required. Contact us at 229.888.7387 option 3 to find out more about SNAP.
Albany Humane Society is committed to reducing the number of animals euthanized in our community. We believe the best way to do this is through targeted Spay & Neuter initiatives aimed at sterilizing the "stray" animals in our community. We hope to open our own low cost spay/neuter clinic in the future. We appreciate your support while we work towards this goal as it will be extremely important in our goal to be a no-kill shelter. Please help us by donating to the Sunshine Fund and our Spay and Neuter Assistance Program today.
